NICK-NAMES: Fe, Muscle Nugget.

POSITION: Owner and Head Coach. Coaches CrossFit classes and runs the Waikato Weightlifting club

QUALIFICATIONS: Diploma of Personal Training, Diploma of Sports Medicine, Certificate in Strength and Conditioning, Nutrition Prescription, Pre and Post Natal Training, Injury Treatment and Prevention and Swimming Coach. CrossFit Certified Level Two Trainer.

BORN AND RAISED: Hamilton, NZ.

I CROSSFIT BECAUSE: I love the community of CrossFit, knowing that the person next to me is going through exactly whatever I am, in that moment and that once they finish they will be right there cheering you on. I love the intensity, the WOD's, but most of all the results. I have done a lot of training in my career and hands down nothing compares to the results that you get from CrossFit.

FAVOURITE WOD AND MOVEMENT: Olympic Weightlifting - Snatch and Clean & Jerk - 1 RM. Fav movement has to be Back Squats!!

LEAST FAVOURITE WOD AND EXERCISE: Burpee Box Jumps.

FAVOURITE FOOD: Chocolate.

WHEN Iā€™M NOT CROSSFITTING I'M: Going to scooter parks with Neice (Harper) and upcycling furniture.

CROSSFIT HERO: The members at CFTR, they inspire me everyday to be better.

WHAT WOULD YOU SAY TO SOMEONE THINKING ABOUT TRYING/STARTING CROSSFIT: Come in, start light and just give it a try. There is always so much happening at CrossFit, so much stimuli that it can be overwhelming. Remember, the coach has your back, they will guide you, help and not let you go through this alone.
